Spirit of Children does it again

Makes hospitals less scary for patients

Spirit of Children has donated over $200,000 to Shriners for Children Medical Center over the years. The program, launched by Spirit Halloween in 2006, has raised $37 million to support child life programs at hospitals across the United States and Canada.

Every year, the staff, volunteers and vendor partners of our local Spirit Halloween stores throw a Halloween party for our patients and families. They arrive with costumes, decorations, activities and toys and a special surprise visit is always arranged. This year, we had a visit from the Power Rangers! We also had support from our therapy pets Love On 4 Paws, the Avengers Initiative and Saban Brands to make the party even more festive.

The Spirit of Children Halloween party is one of the most anticipated parties of the year and a fun way to usher us into the holiday season. We are excited to continue this tradition in our new medical center. Thank you Spirit of Children!
