Harold van Bosse, M.D.

Harold van Bosse, M.D., is an orthopaedic surgeon for Shriners Hospitals for Children — Philadelphia and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He received an undergraduate degree in honors biology and psychology from University of Illinois, Urbana, Illinois, and earned a medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Dr. van Bosse completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.

Areas of special interest to Dr. van Bosse include arthrogryposis, Prader-Willi syndrome, clubfoot and lower extremity deformities.

Dr. van Bosse is on the board of directors for Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita Support, Inc. and A Leg to Stand On. He is a member of the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association-USA clinical advisory board. He is also an associate professor of orthopaedics at Temple University.
