Walk in fracture and sports injury clinic extends hours!

The Portland Shriners Hospital is excited to announce that starting June 3, their walk-in fracture and sports injury clinic will extend its hours to operate from 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m., Monday – Friday, except holidays. Our Portland Shriners Hospital team provides high-quality specialty care to patients with fractures and sports injuries. Specialty care may include reduction, re-alignment, surgery, casting, post-fracture follow-up and/or rehabilitative services.

Open all day, with no appointment needed, this clinic provides a convenient and reliable option for busy families and providers to seek specialized pediatric sports injury and fracture care. The Portland Shriners Hospital staff understands that there is never a good time to experience an injury or break, and looks forward to continuing to be a reliable resource for families. Davene, director of business development, explains the decision to expand the clinic’s hours, “We are excited to expand our hours to provide care for even more kids, and in a time frame that works for families. Ultimately we saw a need within the community for greater access to specialized pediatric injury and fracture care, so it was a natural fit.”

The Portland Shriners Hospital’s walk-in fracture and sports injury clinic sees children and teenagers from infancy up to age 17. We are accepting patients with both known or suspected injuries or fractures. Patients with open fractures, circulatory involvement, nerve issues, or life- or limb-threatening conditions should go to an emergency room.
