Soman Sen, M.D.

Soman Sen, M.D.

Soman Sen, M.D., is a surgeon in the department of burn surgery at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Northern California and assistant professor of surgery for the University of California Davis, School of Medicine. Board certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Sen’s extensive medical experience includes fellowships in surgical critical care and burn surgery at the University of California, Davis.

Before joining the medical team at Shriners Hospitals for Children, Dr. Sen served as administrative chief resident for the department of surgery at Loyola University Medical Center. In 2004, he was named a finalist for the Chicago Committee of Trauma at the American College of Surgeons Scientific Symposium. He was recognized as a winner for Innovations in Leadership at Loyola University Medical Center in 2003.
