Judith L. Gooch, M.D.

Judith L. Gooch, M.D., is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist at Shriners Hospital for Children — Salt Lake City. She received her medical degree from the University of Michigan and did her physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Gooch specializes in the management of motor disabilities in children and continues to follow children into adulthood. She understands the lifelong needs of children with motor disabilities. She is internationally known for spasticity management. She has given lectures nationally and internationally and has written many articles on the management of motor disabilities and spasticity management.

The foundation of her practice is helping patients find ways to use brain plasticity to improve their function. Working in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation and helping people move, talk, think, function and live life has been a profound privilege for Dr. Gooch.
