How can you #CutTheBull?



Let us look beyond our differences and overcome our fears to #SeeTheAbility in everyone.

  • Keep in mind that everyone is different. Not better or worse. Just different.
  • Put yourself in the other person’s shoes and think about how you would want to be treated.
  • Stop and think before you say or do something that could hurt someone.


Reach out


Talk to, include and get to know someone who is being treated differently.

  • Being kind and showing that you care about someone who is being bullied can make a big difference.
  • Sit with them at lunch or on the bus, talk to them at school or invite them to do something. Just hanging out with them will help them know they are not alone.




If you see someone being put down or teased, do not participate. Instead, show support for the person and tell an adult.

  • There are safe ways to get involved. Not saying anything sends the message that bullying is OK.
  • Talk to a parent, teacher, coach or another adult you trust. Adults need to know what is happening so they can help.
  • Be a leader in preventing bullying in your community. Talk to other kids and share ideas on how to #CutTheBull. Download our resources for ways to be an anti-bullying advocate.
