When choosing an orthopaedic physician to treat your child, it’s important to remember that kids are not just little adults. Understanding their unique anatomy is critical to ensure that their bones develop and heal properly. Injuries and orthopaedic conditions in children, especially those involving growth plates, can cause issues that progress as they grow. The pediatric orthopaedic specialists at both the Portland and Salt Lake City Shriners Hospitals provide advanced care to children’s growing bones, ensuring the best treatment possible.
Our patients are at the heart of everything we do. They inspire us to continue our mission of improving the lives of children and families. Our pediatric orthopaedic care teams are led by some of the most innovative, board-certified doctors in the world. We specialize in the treatment of complex and rare, as well as more common, orthopaedic conditions and injuries. Our compassionate wraparound care envelops your child in a supportive and loving environment that helps them thrive.
