Giving to Shriners Hospitals for Children

There are many ways to support Shriners Hospitals for Children through gifts of time, talent and treasure. Learn more about how you can help below.

Make a donation today

Gifts can be made in honor or memory of a loved one and can be made as a one-time donation or on a sustaining basis.

Give through a foundation

Shriners Hospitals for Children accepts grants from private, corporate and community foundations and gifts made through Donor Advised Funds given through banks and financial entities. Either through an application process or a simple request letter, Shriners Hospitals for Children is pleased to provide any information trustees need to consider our hospital system or specific location for funding.

Shriners Hospitals for Children works closely with foundations and financial institutions to ensure donors have the information needed to make sound philanthropic decisions. We are committed to working with foundations and financial institutions during the application process and follow-up reporting. Fundraising for Shriners Hospitals for Children

Proud Supporter Event

If you are hosting a fundraising event to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children, you are in the right spot! These events can include golf tournaments, bike rides, walks, a fashion show, baseball games or any type of event you can dream up!

After filling out the quick approval form, you will be provided a Proud Supporter Toolkit with tips and tricks, fundraising guidelines, pre-approved flyers, fundraising letters, and a pre-approved logo, in addition to other materials, to help you and your event be successful!

Proud Supporter Online Campaign

Share your story and track your fundraising success all in one place through an online campaign for Shriners Hospitals for Children. Whether you’re running a marathon, hosting an office collection or competition, celebrating a birthday, collecting holiday donations, or highlighting a Shriners Hospitals for Children patient you know, this is the one-stop shop for creating your own online fundraising page. Corporate partnership, promotion or percent of sales

Non-monetary gifts

Interested in donating something else? Learn more about donating skin, equipment, airline miles, toys and other non-monetary gifts.

  • Toys, clothing and other personal property
  • Cars
    • Turn your car or other vehicle into a means of support for Shriners Hospitals for Children. Donating is easy and your gift will qualify for tax deduction. For more information, visit the Shriners Car Donations website.
  • Airline miles
    • Contact the airline directly to learn more about its procedures for donating miles to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
  • Skin
    • Many people generously offer to donate skin leftover from a medical procedure for the burn victims we treat. Unfortunately, we cannot accept these donations and recommend you contact a tissue bank in your area, your local community hospital or the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
  • Hair
    • We also cannot accept donations of hair and recommend you contact Locks of Love, a public nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to children suffering from long-term medical hair loss.
