Detroit Lions / Defensive End

Detroit Lions defensive end, and 2016 East-West Shrine Game alumnus, Anthony Zettel supports Shriners Hospitals for Children in the 2017 NFL My Cause My Cleats initiative.

My Cause My Cleats gives players across the NFL an opportunity to wear personalized, custom cleats during Week 13 games to raise awareness for the charities and foundations they passionately support.

Last spring, Zettel met Shriners Hospitals for Children national patient ambassador Emily Mellish and the pair became fast friends. Zettel’s My Cause My Cleats design will feature Emily’s ‘Beads 4 Needs’ program that benefits Shriners Hospitals.

Zettel’s custom cleats will be worn when the Detroit Lions face the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at 1 p.m. EST on Fox.

Following the game, the autographed custom cleats will be auctioned online through NFL Auctions. Proceeds will benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children.
