Anthony Sin, M.D.

Anthony Sin, M.D.

Anthony H. Sin M.D., is a neurosurgeon specializing in spine surgery at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Shreveport. He earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and received residency training at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Lousiana. Following a fellowship in minimally invasive/complex spine surgery at the University of Tennessee – Memphis, Dr. Sin joined the neurosurgery team at University Neurosurgery at LSU Health in Shreveport where he now serves as an associate professor. In 2012, he extended his services to the patients of Shriners Hospitals for Children — Shreveport by joining the hospital’s spine care team.

Board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, Dr. Sin’s interests include minimally invasive spinal surgery and complex spinal disorders, including spinal deformity correction. He has published extensively, including articles in Journal of Neurosurgery – Spine, Surgical Neurology and Child’s Nervous System. Dr. Sin is a member of numerous medical societies, including the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Society of University Neurosurgeons.
