Patrick Massey, M.D.

Patrick Massey, M.D.

Patrick Massey, M.D., is a pediatric sports medicine surgeon at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Shreveport. Dr. Massey earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College (Sidney Kimmel Medical College) in Philadelphia. He underwent residency training at LSU Health in Shreveport, which included a rotation at the Shreveport Shriners Hospital. Dr. Massey then completed a sports medicine fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Massey is dual board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. His areas of focus include cartilage repair and restoration, pediatric anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, patellofemoral re-alignment, meniscus repair and biologics. He is currently the associate program director for the LSU Health Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program in Shreveport.
