For 90 years, Shriners Hospitals for Children — Spokane is where families who want the best orthopaedic care have been bringing their children. What began as a mobile unit in 1924, is now a beautiful state-of-the-art 30-bed hospital treating thousands of patients each year.

We treat children aged 0–18 from Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, Canada and globally, and are accepting new patients.

We treat conditions ranging from serious orthopaedic issues requiring multiple surgeries, to fractures or sports injuries that can be corrected through same-day surgery. In addition, patients receive physical rehabilitation, radiology, laboratory services and casting, all within the Spokane Shriners Hospital. All care and services are provided regardless of the families' ability to pay.

Outreach clinic

The Spokane Shriners Hospital is bringing the expertise of the orthopaedic team to the Tri-Cities and Alaska. The hospital has established an outreach clinic co-located at Northwest Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine in Richland, Washington, as well as a clinic in Fairbanks, Alaska, at McKinley Orthopedics.

The Shriners Hospitals for Children outreach clinic will contain a full team of doctors, as well as nurses, care managers and other hospital staff. It is ultimately an extension of the outpatient clinic at the Spokane Shriners Hospital. Children will see the same skilled medical staff – just at a different location. The new clinic will remove the limitations of receiving specialized care for families where travel has previously been an obstacle.
