Infection prevention and control is paramount to any hospital. At Shriners Hospitals for Children — Spokane, we are proud of our patient safety metrics:

  • Hospital acquired infections 0.22%
  • CAUTI (Catheter-associated urinary tract infections): 0.00
  • CLABSI (Central line-associated bloodstream infections): 0.00
  • SSI (Surgical site infections):  0.34%

Shriners Hospital for Children — Spokane consistently ranks in the top decile among pediatric facilities for patient and family satisfaction. The Spokane Shriners Hospital ranks in the 94th percentile among pediatric hospitals nationwide in willingness to recommend inpatient services in 2016.
