Children up to age 18 are eligible for care at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Springfield if there is a reasonable possibility they can benefit from the specialized services available. Acceptance is based solely on a child’s medical needs.

What insurance do you accept?

Shriners Hospitals for Children — Springfield accepts many types of insurance, including Medicaid, and will work with all families regardless of their insurance or ability to pay. For more information, please call our financial counselor at 413-735-1227.

What should I bring to my child’s appointment?

We hope you enjoy your visit. Please remember to bring to appointments:

  • A current list of the medications your child is taking
  • X-rays
  • Your child’s primary care provider’s name, address, phone and fax number
