Kevin P. Moriarty, M.D., FACS, FAAP

Kevin P. Moriarty, M.D., FACS, FAAP, is a consulting pediatric surgeon at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Springfield, and is affiliated with Baystate Pediatric Surgery. Dr. Moriarty received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Moriarty was an intern, resident and chief resident in general surgery at Baystate Medical Center, as well as a chief resident of pediatric surgery at the Floating Hospital for Infants & Children at Tufts-New England Medical Center. He completed a pediatric trauma research fellowship at the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute and a fetal surgery research fellowship at Tufts-New England Medical Center.

Areas of special interest to Dr. Moriarty include pediatric urology, oncology, endocrine and thoracic surgery, minimally invasive surgery and neonatal surgery.

Dr. Moriarty is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, Hampden District Medical Society, American Pediatric Surgical Association, International Pediatric Endosurgery Group, Baycare Health Partners Reimbursement and Risk Sharing Advisory Council, Greater Springfield IPA, and is the chairman of the HDMS Doctor for a Day program.
