Peter R. Blier, M.D., Ph.D.

Peter R. Blier, M.D., Ph.D., is a consulting pediatric rheumatologist at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Springfield, and is affiliated with Baystate Medical Center. Dr. Blier received his undergraduate degree in biology from Haverford College, a Master of Philosophy degree in medical genetics, his medical degree, and a Ph.D. in human genetics, all from Yale University. Dr. Blier completed both an internship and residency in pediatrics at Boston City Hospital, and a fellowship in pediatric rheumatology at Yale University/Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Dr. Blier is a fellow of both the American College of Rheumatology and the American Academy of Pediatrics, a voting member of the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance, a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and Phi Beta Kappa.
