Charles Huddleston, M.D.

Charles Huddleston, M.D., specializes in cardiac and thoracic surgery and is board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. At Shriners Hospital, Dr. Huddleston performs surgery on children with chest wall deformities. He is interested in research that investigates heart rhythm abnormalities in children with congenital heart disease, and quality performance.

He is a professor in the department of surgery, division of cardiothoracic surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Dr. Huddleston is a member of the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association and the American Association for Thoracic Surgery.

As part of his commitment to medical mission work, he developed a congenital heart surgery program in Panama. He has served as a captain in the U.S. Navy Reserve for more than 20 years.
