Douglas Coplen, M.D., specializes in pediatric urology, primarily working with children at Shriners Hospital with myelomeningocele and the urological issues that accompany that condition. His specialties include prenatal intervention for hydronephrosis, pediatric renal dilation, pediatric endopyelotomy, pediatric disorders of the penis, ectopic ureters, ureteroceles, buccal mucosal urethral replacement, hypospadias, bladder exstrophy, urogenital sinus anomaly, cloacal anomaly, epispadias, prune belly syndrome, enuresis, bed-wetting, neurogenic bladder, myelomeningocele, testicular cancer and pediatric urological cancer.

Board certified in urology with added certification in pediatric urology, Dr. Baszis is associate professor in the division of urologic surgery at Washington University School of Medicine and is the director of pediatric urology, St. Louis Children's Hospital
