Scott J. Luhmann, M.D., is the chief of staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children — St. Louis. He focuses his practice on pediatric reconstructive spine surgery of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine; primary and revision complex, pediatric spinal deformities (scoliosis, kyphosis and spondylolisthesis); pathology of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine (spinal tumors, fractures and congenital disorders); complex, revision spinal reconstructive surgery; and neuromuscular scoliosis. He is consistently recognized on The Best Doctors in America list.

Dr. Scott Luhmann is associate professor of orthopaedic surgery at Washington University School of Medicine. His practice is devoted to pediatric spinal surgery with an emphasis on complex reconstructive spinal surgery and treatment of various spinal deformities such as scoliosis. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

His research interests include treatment of spinal deformities (idiopathic adolescent scoliosis, congenital scoliosis and spondylolisthesis); traumatic spinal pathology of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine; neuromuscular scoliosis; pediatric femur fractures; and pediatric and adolescent knee problems.
