Joseph Khoury, M.D.

Joseph Khoury, M.D.

Joseph Khoury, M.D. is a board-certified surgeon in pediatric orthopaedics. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Iowa and completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at Atlanta Scottish Rite Hospital.

Dr. Khoury joined Shriners Healthcare for Children — Florida in 2017 after three years at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Erie and ten years at Children’s of Alabama (University of Alabama, Birmingham). Dr. Khoury sees a wide variety of pediatric orthopaedic patients and specializes mostly in cerebral palsy, infantile scoliosis casting, Ponseti casting for club feet and other pediatric foot problems. He also treats hip dysplasia in infants and young children, and performs hip ultrasound in the office.

Dr. Khoury is an affiliate associate professor of orthopaedic surgery at the University of South Florida and a core faculty member for the orthopaedic surgery residency program. He is a member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and the Scoliosis Research Society.
