Marisa Couluris, D.O., specializes in pediatric pulmonology. Her comprehensive background in treating acute and chronic lung conditions in children means Dr. Couluris brings an impressive breadth of knowledge. Her responsibilities at Shriners Healthcare for Children — Florida include conducting research and providing care for children with multiple lung disorders.

Dr. Couluris graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is an associate professor at the University of South Florida’s Morsani College of Medicine in the division of pediatric pulmonology. She also carries a vast array of professional memberships, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Thoracic Society and Florida Lung Association, just to name a few. Another interesting fact about Dr. Couluris is that she is very familiar with Shriners Healthcare for Children — Florida; one of her first positions was as a resident working night shifts.
