While state mandates for universal masking, capacity, and occupancy have been lifted under Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s order, CDC guidance on masking, social distancing, and infection control precautions are still encouraged within the order.

Shriners Children’s Texas will continue to adhere to the universal masking policy and all other COVID-19 precautions that have been in place to keep our patients, families, and workforce safe.

At Shriners Hospitals for Children, the health and safety of our patients, families, volunteers and staff is our top priority. With the evolving situation regarding COVID-19, we are closely monitoring updates from local health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and are actively following their recommendations.

If your child has an upcoming appointment, please contact your local Shriners Hospitals for Children location.

Fundraisers and special events

You can become personally involved in raising much-needed funds on behalf of Shriners Children’s Texas. When you attend or host one of our community fundraising events, start a fundraising page or donate to someone else’s fundraising efforts, you make an immediate and memorable impact on children and their families.

A pledge allows donors to make a larger donation over a period of time. Our fundraising efforts are significantly enhanced by these types of gifts. Donors can extend pledge payments over a two to five year time period and reminders can be sent at agreed upon intervals. In-kind donations

Special toys and activities can make a patient's experience at our hospital less stressful. You can provide the gift of new toys, crafts, games and other items for kids of all ages – from infants to teens.

Because the health and safety of our patients always comes first, Shriners Children’s Texas can only accept brand-new toys, stuffed animals, games and crafts.

Due to limited storage and specific patient needs, we ask donors to choose items that are most needed by our hospital.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Shriners Children’s Texas relies on the generosity of donors to continue improving the lives of children.
